Morrow Plots

Today the wheat was planted in the Morrow Plots at the University of Illinois. These plots were established in 1876. The University built the Undergraduate Library underground in order not to shade the crops. In the background the new Plant and Animal Genomics Research building can be seen. Today's high temperature in Champaign, IL was 73 degrees.
